Max Alexander photographs ALMA and VLT for ESO 50th anniversary

Imperative Space associate Max Alexander has completed a three-week trip to Chile as the official photographer for the ESO 50th anniversary celebrations.

Max travelled to the VLT and ALMA sites to photograph the installations in their full glory, as well as the scientists and engineers who work at both facilities. Working alongside other media professionals as part of the ESO anniversary events, at an altitude of 5000m at times, Max has captured some unique perspectives on these important centres.
