Magellium UK and Imperative Space have begun working together on development projects intended to pilot new and innovative services utilising Earth Observation data.
The two companies are bringing together complementary skill sets, with Magellium's expertise in image processing and data handling software matching with Imperative's experience in developing visualisation tools and creating services for education and non-technical sectors.
The collaboration aims to produce initial pilot services for deployment in 2013, and will also involve innovative GIS and mapping related apps. The work will also draw on the expertise of Imperative's sister company Carbon Visuals, in producing accessible data visualisation using environmental data.
