The Blu-ray and DVD versions of Chris Riley's First Orbit feature documentary, have been released globally. The Blu-ray includes translations of Yuri Gagarin's communications from Vostok 1 in thirty languages.
The translations are the result of a global, crowd-sourced effort to ensure this unique celebration of man's first venture into space 51 years ago reaches an even greater audience around the world, in time for the 'Yuri's night' celebrations on 12th April 2012.
The Blu-ray features a fully remastered version of the film and original audio, and a short 'making-of' documentary, which includes interviews with Chris Riley, and astronaut and cameraman Paolo Nespoli.
