ESA has engaged Imperative Space to produce a follow-up MOOC (massive open online course) to its first course on 'Monitoring Climate from Space', released earlier this year. The new, video-led online course will focus on Optical EO technology and its wide range of applications, in environmental monitoring, climate science, humanitarian applications, and other areas.
The course is due to open for enrolment in March 2015 on the FutureLearn platform and will commence in June 2016.
The first course is also due to run again, commencing on 30th November 2015, with new content relating to the COP21 climate summit.
