We have provided a new collection of multimedia resources for ESERO UK, consisting of a mixture of archive footage from historic space programs, and more recent material filmed on board the International Space Station.
With funding from the UK Space Agency, we have conducted a process of adding educational meta-tagging to the clips, to ensure that the resources can be found easily by teachers looking for suitable materials to support lessons about space science and exploration.
The collections include clips from the Our Space project, featuring material filmed by Richard Garriott in orbit.
These curriculum resources will be made available via the ESERO-UK 'STEM e-library', and will include the detailed historical and technical background information for which Footagevault is well known.
